SculptureCenter Lucky Draw

Luck has everything to do with it.
SculptureCenter is pleased to announce that its annual spring benefit,
Lucky Draw, will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008. Co-Chairs Cristina
Delgado and Stephanie Ingrassia will host the cocktail event featuring a
random drawing of artworks by more than 160 artists. Every ticket holder takes home a work of art!
This event regularly sells out so early ticket purchases are recommended.
Lucky Draw tickets are available for $450 each or three for $1,200.
The first three choices will be auctioned off to the highest bidders (for those who don't trust their luck).
Lucky Draw 2008 will be held at SculptureCenter (44-19 Purves Street, Long Island City, New York City)

How to Get Lucky
1. Get ready...
Purchase a ticket by mailing in your response card or contacting Katie Farrell at 718.361.1750 or kfarrell@sculpture-center.org.
Preview the artworks at www.sculpture-center.org beginning Tuesday, April 1
Preview the artworks in person at SculptureCenter
Wednesday, April 16, 12-9pm (drinks will be served from 6pm)
Thursday, April 17 beginning at 12pm
2. Get set...
Make your list of at least 20 artworks before the draw begins.
Write down both the artist's name and the artwork's number on your list.
3. Draw!
When your name is called, announce your choice including the artist's
name and the artwork's number (from the label and checklist) loudly.
4. Pick Up
Works will be packed in the order in which they are drawn. Please be
patient during this process. Have another drink! Or dessert! I
f you have elected a proxy, please let us know ahead of time whether
he/she will also be responsible for taking your work home. If you
choose not to take your piece home on the evening of Lucky Draw,
please arrange pickup within two weeks of the event.
