Lisa Lapinski: Miss Swiss is artist Lisa Lapinski’s most comprehensive monograph to date. Join Lapinski and publication contributors Bruce Hainely and Kyle Dancewicz at SculptureCenter for a conversation marking the last stop on Lapinski’s spring book tour.

Published on the occasion of Drunk Hawking, Lapinski’s 2020 mid-career survey at Visual Arts Center (VAC) at the University of Texas at Austin, the book includes never before published images of Lapinski’s exhibitions and artworks from 2000 to the present. Miss Swiss features contributions by Bruce Hainley, Graham Bader, Kyle Dancewicz, Sabrina Tarasoff, and MacKenzie Stevens, as well as a conversation between the artist and linguist Viola Schmitt. Designed by Apogee Graphics, the book provides new insights into Lapinski’s influential and idiosyncratic practice.

Lisa Lapinski: Miss Swiss is co-published by Inventory Press and Visual Arts Center at the University of Texas at Austin. Purchase the book via Inventory Press now. Copies will be available on site at SculptureCenter during the event.
