    Performance at SculptureCenter in conjunction with In Practice: Coco Klockner

    In Practice artist Coco Klockner hosts an afternoon of live text and sound, engaging language, subjecthood, and affective frequencies. Through auto-tuned poetry readings, live electronic soundscapes, and hybrid performances, Lydo Le, Benjamin Krusling, and Klockner turn SculptureCenter’s lower level into a site for sonic experimentation.

    Coco Klockner is an artist and writer based in New York. She has released music as flashlight o and coco celine, including sleep ache suite (Triest Editions, 2024) and I might have to use this on my landlord (with Vijay Masharani, Orb Tapes, 2021). Her composition work has been commissioned by Musik Installationen Nürnberg, and she has sound designed short films including Leave (dir. Luscombe and Benedetto, 2023), Jane Eyre, Los Angeles (dir. Loeppky-Kolesnik & Klockner, 2021), and Fabrication of Senses (dir. Cao, 2024).

    Lydo Le works with sound. Previous collaborations include multiple scores for Bagus Pandega and Mara McKevitt’s “VAL”; an immersive installation commissioned by CFGNY; and curation of The Stage at Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair. Since 2017, they have organized the party XTRA.SERVICES. In 2025, they started an itinerant ambient series, care., which will see its fifth session in November 2025. They are currently working on their debut album and are a resident at Basement, NY.

    Benjamin Krusling is the author of the poetry collection Glaring (2020). Fear of God Essentials is forthcoming from Nightboat Books in 2027. Recent critical writing has appeared in The Paris Review, Screen Slate, and the Journal of Palestine Studies, and he has performed sound work at Montez Press Radio, Storefront for Art and Architecture, Dweller Music Festival, and other places.
