To celebrate the opening of Akinsanya Kambon: Soul Sessions, CARA and SculptureCenter invite you to a book launch and artist-led walkthrough of the exhibition at CARA on Saturday, May 30 at 4pm.
Akinsanya Kambon: The Hero Avenges (DelMonico Books, 2026) is the first monograph dedicated to Kambon. Following a reading by interdisciplinary poet and sound artist LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs and a conversation with Sohrab Mohebbi, Director of SculptureCenter, the artist will walk visitors through Soul Sessions at CARA.
Akinsanya Kambon: Soul Sessions is a two-venue survey exhibition organized by SculptureCenter and the Center for Art, Research and Alliances (CARA).
