Ann Craven:
Against the Stream

Taking place on the corrugated metal of SculptureCenter's facade door, this series was launched in 2007 with a work by Olivier Mosset titled Golden Shower, 2007. Against the Stream, 2008, by Ann Craven, takes its title from a novel by Barbara Cartland, and responds to Mosset's painting, while further exploring the possibilities of scale and the language of visual abstraction.
