The work of Pamela Rosenkranz deals with the redistribution of what constitutes the organic and the inorganic situations in which synthetic materials may resemble bodily substances, and the body may appear more mechanical. Related to her More Core series of photograms of pharmaceutical pills that resemble eyes, for Clearer, Rosenkranz has created a series of implied portraits by scanning opals, each resulting image uniquely reflecting and refracting the precious stones. The edition is sold framed.

Rosenkranz participated in the group exhibition A Disagreeable Object (SculptureCenter, 2012) and represented Switzerland at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015. Recently, her work has been exhibited internationally at Tai Kwun, Hong Kong (2019); M WOODS, Beijing (2017); and Fondazione Prada, Milan (2017).
