Working at the intersection of performance and sculpture, Sasamoto creates object scenarios out of narratives and actions. For her exhibition in SculptureCenter's lower level galleries, her first solo show in a U.S. museum, Sasamoto created a new body of work in relation to the site. This catalog includes texts by Curator Ruba Katrib and Jody Graf, a New York-based writer and curator, with a contribution by Sasamoto.
