    Clear Sky is a whimsical sculpture that informed a larger series of work shown in a solo exhibition titled Hope at Josée Bienvenu Gallery in Spring 2007. Julianne Swartz's work was shown at SculptureCenter in 2001 in Interval: New Art for a New Space.

     

    More recently Swartz has had solo exhibition at Josée Bienvenu Gallery, New York, NY (2019 and 2017); Grace Farms Foundation, New Canaan, CT (2019); ICA, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA (2018); Art Gallery of Western Australia, Perth, AU (2016); Mass MoCA, North Adams, MA (2016); and The High Line, New York City (2011), among others.

     

    Her works have also been featured in a number of group shows at Phoenix Art Museum (2020), Museum of Contemporary Art, Bu Shi, Shanghai (2018), and Museum of Arts and Design, New York (2017).
