Join us for for a talk with Madison Square Park Conservancy's Martin Friedman Curator, Adam Glick at Charles Long's interactive installation Pet Sounds in Madison Square Park. Pet Sounds consists of vibrantly colored pipe railings meandering through the greenery of the park. Each railing swells at its end into an amorphous, fantastic form that suggests a variety of associations, though any real semblance remains just out of reach. You can see more of Charles's work in SculptureCenter's fall exhibition A Disagreeable Object. Following the talk, we will enjoy burgers, shakes, and summer weather at Madison Square Park's outdoor Shake Shack.
