Join us to celebrate the opening of three solo exhibitions by Sam Anderson, Teresa Burga , and Charlotte Prodger, on view May 1 - July 31, 2017. This is the first solo exhibition in a U.S. museum for each artist.
Sam Anderson: The Park
A series of newly commissioned sculptures, including a sound piece and video work for SculptureCenter's lower level galleries that isolates and abstracts the idea of community.
Teresa Burga: Mano Mal Dibujada
Historical and recent works are on view, including Burgas's Prismas sculptures from the 1960s, and a new series of sculptures are presented for the first time in their entirety.
Charlotte Prodger: Subtotal
Using narration, sound, and moving image, Prodger interweaves narrative fragments that imbed time and place through her subjectivity. This exhibition marks the U.S. premier of Prodger's video work, BRIDGIT (2016) and includes new site-specific sculpture and works on paper.
