    Private Collection Tour and Artist Talk with Teresa Burga

    Patrons are invited for a private collection tour at the Home of Charlotte Feng Ford and a talk between Peruvian Artist Teresa Burga and Curator Ruba Katrib.

    Burga will discuss her oeuvre and Mano Mal Dibujada, her first solo museum exhibition in the United States, which will open at SculptureCenter on April 30th and be on view through July 31st. Teresa Burga was born in 1935 in Iquitos, Peru and is a pioneer of multimedia and conceptual art in Peru. She studied in Lima before attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a Fulbright scholar and was an active figure in the feminist movement in Lima during the 1960s. Mano Mal Dibujada is organized by SculptureCenter Curator Ruba Katrib. She will also serve as a curatorial advisor for the Focus section starting from Frieze London 2017.
