    SculptureCenter is located in Long Island City, Queens, a vibrant, evolving neighborhood 5 minutes from Midtown Manhattan. The area is a mix of industrial and manufacturing businesses interspersed with Class A office space, cultural organizations, hotels, and residential and retail buildings. There are a number of excellent cafes and eateries, most of which are family businesses. SculptureCenter is a proud member of the Long Island City Cultural Alliance, which includes Museum of the Moving Image, The Chocolate Factory, Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs, Flux Factory, American Folk Art Museum Collections and Education Center, Materials for the Arts, The Noguchi Museum, MoMA PS1, Socrates Sculpture Park, and Thalia Spanish Theatre.
