SculptureCenter Annual Gala 2025

On Thursday April 10, 2025 SculptureCenter welcomed our community of artists, patrons, friends and colleagues to our home in Long Island City to host this year’s Annual Gala celebrating the tenth anniversary of Valeria Napoleone XX SculptureCenter.

Founded in 2015, this initiative has commissioned major new works by Anthea Hamilton, Carissa Rodriguez, Fiona Connor, Rindon Johnson, Lydia Ourahmane, and Tolia Astakhishvili for their breakout exhibitions at SculptureCenter.

Joined by each of the artists alongside Valeria Napoleone, whose vision and commitment to artists exemplifies what is possible, when artists, institutions, and patrons take leaps of faith together in pursuit of new possibilities for artists and their work—the evening toasted this special milestone and was followed by an afterparty featuring a performance by Ren G and DJ set by DeSe Escobar.

We would like to thank this year’s Honorees and Host Committee, SculptureCenter’s dedicated Board of Trustees and patrons for supporting this year’s Annual Gala. Proceeds from last night's fundraiser provide critical support to our institution and to all the artists we offer the time, space, attention, and resources needed to make their work.
