There is a $5 suggested donation for entry, $3 for students.

Admission is free for members, Long Island City residents, members of the press, and other museum staff with valid ID.

SculptureCenter also participates in a number of free access programs including IDNYC, Culture Pass, and Blue Star Museums.

Public Transportation
The closest ADA accessible subway stations are the E/M/R at Queens Plaza and the 7 at Court Sq. B62, Q39, Q67, and Q100 buses quipped with wheelchair lifts stop between 44th Drive and Orchard Street on Jackson Avenue. More information about accessible public transit is available here.

For Visitors with Limited Mobility
SculptureCenter is accessible via the main entrance located on Purves Street.

A standard wheelchair is available from the Visitors Service desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

The elevator is located in the lobby. Both ground floor and lower level are accessible for people using mobility aids or those who prefer to avoid stairs.

For Visitors Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision
Large print gallery guides and floor maps are available at the Visitor Services desk.

Lighting levels in the galleries may be low depending on the requirements of artwork display.

All public restrooms are single user/all-gender and are accessible facilities.

Service Animals
Service animals on a leash are welcome. Other animals are not permitted.

For Visitors Who Are Deaf or Have Hearing Loss
American Sign Language interpretation is available for most public programs with at least two weeks advance notice. Please contact or call 718.361.1750.

Gallery Policies

Cellphone photography is permitted for noncommercial use. The use of tripods and professional grade cameras is not permitted in the galleries.

Backpacks, suitcases, or large bags are not permitted in the galleries. Coat hooks and limited storage shelves are available at the Visitor Services for personal belongings.

Sketching with pencils and small notepads is allowed, but the use of easels and paints is not permitted.
