Join Pat Oleszko for the launch of her first institutional publication, Pat Oleszko: Fool Disclosure, released on the occasion of her eponymous survey exhibition, which took place at SculptureCenter last winter (Jan 29–Apr 27, 2026), and opens at Museum Cobra in Amstelveen on Nov 21, 2026.

The publication will be available on Dec 10 at SculptureCenter and Pat will be present, leading a conversation on the exhibition with the curators and signing copies! For a limited time, it can also be pre-ordered online at a discounted rate.

The publication includes a biographical “Time Lion” by the artist in her own idiosyncratic language, spanning her practice from the 1960s to today and detailing the many figures and events that have informed her work. It is illustrated with materials from Oleszko's personal archive—from family photographs to performance documentation, scripts, magazine covers, drawings, film stills, among others. The publication also includes newly commissioned essays by Columbia University professor and art historian Julia Bryan-Wilson; New York-based cultural worker, writer, and researcher Marie Catalano; Budapest-based curator, writer, and artist Gyula Muskovics; and American chef, food writer, and close friend of Oleszko, Ruth Reichl, along with a text matching her pun-filled style by Oleszko’s friend, the late artist Jim Pomeroy. The publication is designed by Tiffany Malakooti.
