Jeanine Oleson premiered a performance, Does it matter? Hands down, yes., as part of a material investigation in which she handles clay and copper, exploring their properties as constructive and conductive elements, that also resulted in a new 3D video and group of sculptures in The Eccentrics. Oleson (born 1974 in Astoria, OR and lives in NYC) has had solo exhibitions at the New Museum (2014) and at Beta-Local in San Juan, PR (2011). She has been included in group exhibitions such as Shared Women at LACE in Los Angeles, CA (2007) and Ridykeulous at Participant, Inc. in NYC (2006).

The Eccentrics performance program extends out of the works on view by four of the exhibiting artists. The performances are all new commissions.
