Drop, Dripped is a two-part sculpture with a white glass "drip" that rests on a black glass "drop." The piece may be installed on a shelf or on the floor. Drop, Dripped is closely related to the installation Drip, Drop, Plop (2001) that was exhibited at Metro Pictures in 2002. In 2003, Wilson represented the United States at the 50th Venice Biennale with the solo exhibition. He also received a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Achievement Award (1999) and the Larry Aldrich Foundation Award (2003). Wilson's work has been featured in more than 100 group exhibitions including the Whitney Museum of American Art Biennial Exhibition (1993) and the 4th International Cairo Biennale (1992). Fred Wilson is a member of SculptureCenter's Board of Trustees.
